Craig Hall > 5-18-06. Okay, I'm sorry! But check out the details. This has got to be the best fly mating picture I have taken and there have been several others. Now you know more about fly mating stuff than you ever wanted.
Craig Hall > 7-11-06. I got home from work yesterday and saw one of our boxer puppies, Rufus, playing in the water coming out of the hose held by my wife.
Craig Hall > 8-25-06. A hummingbird moth. These little critters have been almost impossible to photograph. I have been trying to take a picture of one for two years and this was the first one I got. They are a little larger than a bee and zip from flower to flower, just like a hummingbird.
Craig Hall > 10-30-06. My son, Derik, gives our nephew, James, a ride.
Craig Hall > 9-6-06--I found this little fellow by our pond yesterday. I wasn't sure what it was until I had a couple of viewers tell me it was a green heron.
Craig Hall > 11-4-06. A spider holding on to a bolt, hoping I don't swat him.
Craig Hall > 7-30-06. My first robberfly of the year! I love these little boogers. They are bad and usually can be found eating other insects such as bees, wasps, spiders and dragonflies. This guy set there and posed for me long enough to snap off some 30 pictures.
Craig Hall > 11-08-06. A view from the Runestone State Park looking back to the north.
Craig Hall > 10-18-06. Our boxer puppies, Rufus and Izzy, are now 10 months old, but still playful. They were out on their afternoon run when I took this picture, playing a little game of tag. Rufus, on the left, just tagged Izzy.
